Is it possible? The teaching is meant to keep us out of the ditch of longing, to bring us back to our lives so that we fully appreciate what’s happening. Brilliant.
But who doesn’t want shiny things like love, praise, relief, justice, gain, applause, understanding, power, knowledge, hope, appreciation, recognition, fairness, success, peace, approval, fun, strength, happiness, equality, freedom, pleasure, joy? I could go on.
